So let me tell you a little story… It’s all about finding the “perfect nest”.
First, let me start with this chicken. If you look closely, you will see her baby tucked under her wing… It’s sort of like “Where’s Waldo“?😂
If you know anything about chickens, (and I sure do) you know that a mama chick will stop at nothing until she finds the perfect nest for her baby. She searches all day long, relentlessly, finding a place for that baby to stay safe and secure until it can actually fly up into a tree to get into a nest and roost for herself.
The reason I’m sharing this story is because Robin has been my “mama chicken”. And trust me when I say, this chicken is NEVER scared!😂
Robin and David have been diligently helping me search for my “she-shed“ home in Mount Pleasant for nearly 2 years. During those two years, I did find a couple of homes that were close, but Robin knew best. They were not the best fit for me in the long run. I want to whole heartedly thank Robin and David for finding my “perfect nest”… Something that in this market, I thought may never happen. However, just like she always said, “you will know it when you see it and it will be the right one for you“.

Four massive hurricanes hit that small island during their time there, the worst was Hurricane Floyd, a category 5 storm that destroyed every building. After a short 11 months, the team had rebuilt the resort, all while Robin had her first son William, born only 3 weeks after the hurricane hit the island. Adventurous. Resilient. Determined. Driven. Robin & David sold the resort at the bottom of the market in 2009 & left the island in 2012, because their two children needed a better education. They chose Charleston for the Academic Magnet school. Little did they know that their son, William, was autistic. Arriving in Charleston with little money, no credit, and no marketable skills, it was challenging! Knowing they could run a business, Robin & David decided to get their real estate licenses. They had developed and sold real estate in the Bahamas, so it seemed a natural fit! Only a few years later, Robin has sold nearly $65 Million dollars of real estate without a team, and while fighting breast cancer. Her specialty is hard to sell homes, unique homes, or those that sit on the market too long. With her finance background, she also loves to help investors or second homeowners.
